Theraworx: Alcohol-free skin cleanser
Theraworx is an alcohol free, all natural skin cleanser, designed to clean, protect and hydrate the skin in one simple step. Developed by local St. John’s physician Dr. Roger Huckfeldt, Theraworx was designed as a skin healthy alternative to typical alcohol based products.

Typical consumer products containing alcohol can be very harmful to the hands and skin, stripping away moisture and essential oils, leaving hands dry, cracked, and painful. The high alcohol content can also prove toxic to children, as well as creating flammability risks. And watch out if you have a small cut or scrape on your hand! The pain from this can be excruciating. From these pitfalls, Dr. Huckfeldt determined “there had to be a better way”.

Therawox is a completely skin safe formulation, designed for all ages and skin types. Natural ingredients Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Beta Glucan and Allantoin provide nourishment and moisture, while special surfactants clean away dirt and grime, leaving the essential oils needed for healthy skin. The formulation is non-toxic, non-flammable, and can be placed directly on a cut or scrape without any pain, actually helping to clean the wound.

Theraworx is available in a variety of sizes and delivery methods to best suite your needs. The 2oz foamers and sprays are great for purses, backpacks, and pockets, while the larger 7oz foamer is perfect for desks, kitchens, and breakrooms. Inveno Health, in partnership with St. John’s Medical Research Institute, develops and delivers innovative solutions to important healthcare needs. Each product idea comes directly from a St. John’s coworker who identified a gap in the quality of care for their patients. Through a process called translational research, the initial concept is “translated” into a final product and sent back to the healthcare system in an effort to improve the level of care.
